Mt_da Personality Module

This section provides information about the Mt_da personality module available in Design Architect. This personality module is the base of the Mentor Technologies library management system and is used to provide a correct by construction methodology for the creation, development, maintenance and management of component libraries and designs.

The Mt_da personality module is divided in four sections, corresponding to the da_session, da_window, schematic and symbol scopes available in Design Architect. Each of these scopes have their own userware file named <scope_name>.ample and associated dofile named <scope_name>.dofile located in the $MT_HOME/userware/Mt_da/userware/default directory.

All userware functions defined in this personality module can be easily edited by using the MGC > Userware > Edit Source function. A list of all functions defined can be accessed through the Help > MT Help > Design Architect > Function Definitions pulldown menu.

Please remember that any editing should be saved in your own userware directory such as <COMPANY_HOME>/userware/<company_da>/userware/default.
